Learn French in Biarritz, a chic resort on the South West Atlantic coast of France, famous for its excellent year-round surfing conditions. Students taking a French course in Biarritz enjoy the miles of golden sands, elegant architecture and leisure activities. Our French language school in Biarritz is conveniently located just 20-minutes walk from the town centre and close to the train station and airport.

The French language school has 15 air-conditioned classrooms, internet and self-study room. The school offers a wide range of French courses including an Intensive group course and a French A Level revision during the Easter and Summer holidays. For students wishing to combine their French course with Surfing our school in Biarritz offers a special French and Surfing course. French lessons take place in the morning with surf lessons taking place each afternoon with fully-qualified surf instructors. All equipment (surfboards and wetsuits) is included in the price.

For students wanting to completely immerse themselves in the French language and culture we recommend that you stay with one of our carefully selected French host families.

Social and Cultural Activities

Our French language school in Biarritz organises a weekly programme of afternoon and evening social activities to help students practice out of class the French language skills that they learn on their French course. These include a guided walking tour of Biarritz, French cinema and museum visits and excursions to the beach.

For students staying with a French host family a free airport transfer service is provided on arrival and departure.

Flights to Biarritz can be arranged from London Stansted.

French A-Level Revision course (16-18 years)

Summer holidays (1 or 2 week courses)

During February and October Half Term holidays the course takes place at our French school in Bordeaux

French lessons are specifically designed for students preparing for their AS and A level examinations. All students take a level test before taking the A Level French Revision course and the course is aimed towards the needs of the group.

Programme includes: 24 French lessons per week plus 3 cultural activities per week and return airport transfers for students staying with host families.

Activity programme: Guided walking tour of Biarritz, French film evening, guided visits of the Chocolate Museum and Aquarium.

Supervision: The school Director provides his telephone number to students in case of emergency. Students are allowed some free time in the evenings with signed parental permission.

French and Surfing Course

30/03 to 30/10/09 (2 week courses)

There is no better location in France than Biarritz for learning French and learning to surf as well! French lessons take place each morning with our native French tutors. Each afternoon there are 2 hours of surf lessons with our partner surf school on the world famous Plage de la cote des Basques. All equipment is provided (wetsuits and surfboards).

Programme includes: 20 French lessons per week, accommodation with a French host family (all meals provided), 10 surf lessons per week, airport transfers from/to Biarritz airport.

Supervision: All equipment is provided and all activities are fully supervised. The school Director provides his telephone number to students in case of emergency. Students are allowed some free time in the evenings with signed parental permission.
